Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin introduce a New State Education Policy, which will be following the history, future goals, economic development and professional thinking of the state.
Smt Droupadi Murmu was the chief guest of the event; addressing the convocation of the University of Madras, CM Stalin said that the Tamil Nadu government is keen and working toward a unique ‘State Education Policy’ will be following the history of the state, future goals, economic development and professional thing. Over 1 lakh student received their degree on 6th August.
Addressing the convocation, the honorable president congratulated all the medal winners and students who graduated today. Droupadi Murmu underlined the fact that a total of 1,85,000 students are enrolled in madras university in different departments of studies and over 50% of students are girls she said the University of Madras is a shining example of gender equality. and she further said that educated women will contribute to the development of the nation and lead the many sectors that make a positive impact on society.
Tamil Nadu governor RN Ravi was also present at the convocation ceremony he said, “You Are fortunate to be graduating at a time when our country” is in comprehensive improvement nowadays. Unlike a few years ago, India is not looked upon as a poor developing country. Today the world looks at our country with the expectation to find solutions to the problems of the world and to provide leadership in several areas of global concerns today.
