Rozgar Mela: An official stated that the Roazgar Mela was organized at 45 locations across the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute 51,106 appointment letters to new appointees through video conferencing, on 28 August 2023.
Through this event, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is appointing personnel in diverse Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), which include Central Reserves Police Force (CRPF), Assam Rifles, Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Border Security Force (BSF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Delhi Police.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also address the appointees as per a statement given by officials. The appointees will secure different profiles such as sub-inspectors, constables, and non-general duty positions in diverse organizations under the MHA.
Officials further stated that the main motive of this Mela event is to strengthen the CAPFs and Delhi Police forces, further preparing them for multidimensional role, counter-terrorism, helping internal security, anti-left-wing extremism, combating insurgency, and securing borders of the nation.
The Roazgar Mela will further ensure the generation of employment and deliver meaningful opportunities for the youth, their empowerment, and participation towards national development. The new appointees are further getting an opportunity to learn via Karmayogi Prarambh, which is an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal.
