Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended French postgraduate work visas for Indian students. Modi said France will grant master’s students a five-year visa.
The Prime Minister made this statement to the Indian community at La Seine Musicale in Paris.
Indian students in France had a two-year postgraduate work visa. The host country grants international students a postgraduate work visa (PGWV), often known as the Graduate Route. International students can stay for several years (as specified by the local government) to find jobs and develop experience with the postgraduate work visa.
Most countries require students to apply for jobs related to their degree field.
