Meerut, India— Himani Pal, who won the 2019 convocation gold prize and passed the NET test twice, has filed severe complaints against Chaudhary Charan Singh University. Her PhD interview was unfairly rejected without any questions asked. When she examined the results, she was shocked to find her name not on the list of selected candidates. When she applied for a PhD at CCSU in Meerut, she was shocked to find her name missing.

Hemani learned on Tuesday that her interview scores were low. She complained that no questions were answered during the interview. She is confused and doubts the evaluation process.
Hernani said, “I passed the NET twice. University gold medalist. How did I fail the PhD interview? It’s unfathomable.” She expressed amazement that her academic achievements were seemingly ignored during the examination process.
Himani disagreed with the investigating committee’s report, questioning its transparency and fairness. The committee gave Himani 22 interview marks.
Himani’s claims have academics concerned, and many are urging a thorough, unbiased investigation to preserve the university’s evaluation process.
