University of Lucknow on Friday, 16th June 2023, released its schedule for Under Graduate entrance examinations named (UGET) 2023. The notification uploaded by the Coordinator, Centralized Admission University of Lucknow, schedules the exam dates from 30 June to 6th July 2023. The University has also extended the last date for online form submission for UG admission 2023. The exam will be held in two shifts Morning shift (10:30 AM-12:00 PM) and the Evening Shift (2:30 PM-4:00 PM).
The public notice displays the dates of entrance examinations and shifts. A separate date is allotted for individual courses in a single shift. The entrance exam for B.A. will hold on 1 July 2023 in the evening shift from 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM. Candidates who applied for B.Sc (Ag) will participate on 3rd July 2023 in Morning Shift (10:30 AM-12:00 PM) BBA Candidates 4 July 2023, Evening Shift has been allotted.
Candidates for B.El.ED. will face their entrance exam on the 30th of June in Morning Shift. D.Pharma’s Candidates are also scheduled on this same date but in the evening shift. The entrance test for all UG courses will be held between 30 June 2023 and 6 July 2023.
Candidates are advised to download their Entrance exam Dates from the official website www.lkouniv.ac.in and Admit card when it will be uploaded. All the questions will be Objective type or Multiple Choice Based Questions. LU spokesperson Shri Durgesh Srivastava said “The exam will be of 90 minutes for 100 Objective Type Questions and there will be No Negative Marking. Each Question will carry two Marks thus question Paper will carry 200 marks for 100 correct Answers”.
Talking about Question Patterns and said “The question Paper will test students’ 10+2 level knowledge only, if the students have prepared well for their class 12th board examination they do not need to worry, join extra classes or Mock Test practices. The Candidates who have applied for B.A. must prepare the topics like- Hindi, English, Geography, History, Civics, Psychology, and Economics.
For B.Com Candidates’ questions will be asked about Mental Ability, Commerce, Accounting, Commercial, Mathematics, Economics, and the Computer. Candidates wishing to crack B.Sc (Math) entrance exam should focus on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Mental Aptitude, and Basic Knowledge of Computer Applications. Candidates who want admission to B.Sc (Bio) should prepare for Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mental Aptitude, and Computer Basics.
He further informed, “The last date to apply online Application form for UG admission in LU has been extended till 22nd June 2023.” Candidates can apply by visiting the official portal.
