The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) notified students for the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2023, a national-level examination for scientific minds. Students willing to appear in VVM 2023 can apply at the official website- vvm.org.in by 15 September 2023.
Vidyarthi Vigan Manthan 2023 is a cooperative effort between Vijnana Bharti, the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The exam seeks to look out for scientific & logical minds among students between classes 6 to 11, coming from different educational boards.
VVM 2023 exam will provide the opportunity to 120 students belonging to Uttar Pradesh to become a part of a state-level camp and gain valuable experience. Among these students, the top 18 candidates will be awarded a cash price of INR 5,000, INR 3,000, and INR 2,000 respectively. Every participant will receive a district-level participation certificate and the top 12 candidates will further proceed to the national-level camp.
Students participating in Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2023 will get abundant opportunities in the form of internships and training for 21 days at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) for the regional winners and national winners.
The VVM 2023 examination will include 100 application-based questions which students have to attempt in 90 minutes. The exam will be consulted on October 29 or October 30. To appear in this exam, candidates have a pay a fee of INR 200 and the result will be announced on 10 November 2023.
