The admission process for the Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) of Himachal Pradesh will be conducted in three phases. The merit in the first two phases will be formed based on marks obtained in class 10th and 12th examinations. In the third phase, a spot round will be conducted to finalize the admission process.
The online registration process in 152 government and 140 private institutions was started on 28 June by the Directorate of Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training, Himachal Pradesh.
The admission process will be conducted in different rounds as mentioned below:
- The application process will continue till 19 July and the first round of seats allotment will be held on 28 July.
- Once the documents are verified and seats are allotted in the first phase, the remaining seats from this stage will be displayed on 4 August.
- In the second phase of seat allotment, students have to reapply for vacant seats till 14 August, the seats will be allotted on 21 August and the documents will be verified on 25 August.
- In the third phase, students who have secured 70% marks will participate in the spot round on 28 August.
- Applicants who have secured 55%-70% marks will take part in the spot round on 29 August.
- Students securing 55% marks will further participate in the spot round on 30 August.
- Students who have secured passing marks and above will take part in the spot round on 31 August.
