The Delhi University declared that applicants who faced rejection in the first merit list for securing admission to postgraduate courses via Common Seat Allocation System (CASA) 2023 will be considered in subsequent rounds. The mid-entry process will be open from 5 pm on August 31 till 4.59 pm on September 1.
Concerned authorities at DU stated that “Those candidates who failed to convert their CGPA score into percentage despite several announcements by the university may be able to convert CGPA to percentage in the mid-entry window. Such candidates will be considered as mid-entrants.”
The Dean of Admissions at Delhi University, Haneet Gandhi, said “BA program students of DU were not eligible for this category of admissions, which is particularly for BA Honours students. We will get them (BA program) students back in the subsequent list as per merit.”
The first round of seat allocation for Delhi University post-graduation courses was released on 17 August 2023. The University got over 11,000 applications in the first round, out of which 6,657 applicants received the first choice of program and college.
DU further notified applicants who were unable to convert their CGPA Score into percentages will be provided a window during subsequent rounds.
