Delhi University commonly known as DU launched Common Seat Allocation System Portal (CSAS) on JUNE 14, 2023 for students looking for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Two separate portals will be launched this year and similar to last year DU cut-off list will not be released, and students have to complete the CSAS application without making any errors.
DU has changed the rules and regulations regarding undergraduate admission registration under extracurricular activities (ECA) and sports quotas. A total of 20% of total supernumerary seats can be filled by these quotas.
Sensitive information such as photographs, names, and signatures will be automatically attached to DU’s CSAS for applicants of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. After the seat gets allotted candidates have to either accept or float the seat before the given time and date.
The portal will also provide an option for St Stephen College as it comes under the DU domain but with a different admission process. Candidates are facing problems regarding this option, the issue was also raised in the recent meeting of DU’s executive council.
DU will further provide Ph.D. admission through CUET, this is the first time DU is conducting an entrance exam for Ph.D. The executive council has further approved seat criteria for Medical Science Courses such as MBBS/ BDS curriculum, 2023-24 session.
