DU 1st UG Seat Allocation 2023-24: 1 August 2023, 5 PM IST is the release date & time for DU CSAS Merit Cut Off 2023-24. The merit list will be prepared in consideration of marks obtained by students in CUET, preferred courses, and colleges, category of students (general/reserved), and availability of seats. Students can access the merit list by visiting the official website at admission.uod.ac.in.
Students who secure a position on the merit list can apply through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) admission portal. Students are required to accept the DU 1st UG Seat Allocation 2023 between 5 pm on 1 August to 4:59 pm on 4 August. The concerned authority will verify the applications by 5 August. The fees for the corresponding courses must be paid before 4:59 pm on 6 August.

In case of students are unable to submit fees before 4:59 pm on 6 August 2023, the cancellation process for the allotted seat will be initiated. The seat will be made available for other students and the candidate will not be allotted seats for any course throughout the year.

Three stages of seat distribution for Delhi University 2023 will be followed by a spot round. On August 1, 2023, the DU’s first seat allocation list will be made available on the CSAS webpage. When the initial CSAS allocation list is released on August 1, candidates will have four days, or until August 4, to accept it. When a student’s name appears on the initial seat allocation list, colleges must review and approve the application by August 7, which falls on July 6. Students must also pay fees online by July 6 by this date.

DU 1st seat allotment – Seat freeze
Candidates who have accepted admission using a DU first seat allocation and wish to keep doing so should file a freeze request using their dashboard. Such a candidate will never be able to choose “Upgradation” after picking “Freeze.” A candidate who has been admitted will keep the admission they have chosen; he or she will not be given the opportunity to upgrade in any subsequent rounds if they choose neither to upgrade nor freeze and remain inactive in that round.
